How long has Phoenix been “on the scene?”

Operated by principals with a long, rich history in the collectibles field, The Phoenix has been serving comic and card collectors since May of 2005. Since then, it has become an essential international resource for collectibles of all kinds, and a highly-social “hangout hot-spot” for trading card game tournaments and comic book enthusiasts.

 

Why has The Phoenix expanded operations from its brick & mortar store to the Internet?

Quite simply, the level of demand and inquiries from around the USA and the world reached the point where it became essential to go online to best serve the collector community.

 

Other than what is for sale on this site, what services does The Phoenix provide?

 

The Phoenix – drawing upon its own huge stock, and via relationships with a wide array third-party sellers – helps you find exactly what you are looking for, at the lowest possible price! We also help you sell your comics and other collectibles through our consignment service.

 

What is your method of shipping, and when can I expect to receive my package?

 

Most in-stock orders ship USPS Parcel Post the next business day. Orders shipped with the 48 contiguous states should arrive within 2-9 days from the day it ships from our warehouse, depending on your location. Orders placed during a weekend ship the following business day (unless it is a National holiday). Special arrangements for Next Day, Second Day and 3rd Day Select shipping can be made by calling our toll-free number, 1- 877-327-8170. Go to Shipping for details. 

 

Is online shopping at Phoenix safe and secure?

 

Yes. Phoenix uses state-of-the-art security procedures and guarantees that you will not be charged if fraudulent use is made of your credit card because of an order you have placed on this site. 

 

What happens if an item is not available?

 

If an item is temporarily unavailable, Phoenix will search its many resources to get it for you. If it is permanently unavailable, we will, where appropriate, suggest alternate selections.

 

I'm having trouble ordering online – what should I do?

What is your cancellation policy?

 

You may cancel an order anytime prior to shipping. Unfortunately, we are not able to cancel an order once it has been shipped.

 

What is your return policy?

 

If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may return any merchandise purchased from Phoenix within 30 days of receipt of your shipment for a full refund or replacement. 

 

Do you accept shipments to post office boxes, or international orders?

 

We do ship to PO, APO or FPO Boxes, as well as international orders. All orders are payable in U.S. dollars.

 

What is your privacy policy?

 

We are the owner and operator of this website. We will not sell or share information to any other third parties. The personal information you enter during registration and or during checkout is stored in My Account and is accessible only to you. You can access “My Account” to add or change your information at any time.

 

Do you buy collections?

 

We do, depending on quality, offer to buy certain collections, but will be more likely to recommend that we sell it for you on consignment (see below).

 

Will you sell my collection for me on your site?

 

Absolutely! Contact us to discuss consignment terms.

 

Are your prices the same online and in your bricks & mortar store?

 

Prices in our “brick & mortar store” may on occasion be slightly higher than online because of overhead factors.

What is The Phoenix’s relationship with Neutral Ground?

 

Neutral Ground for years has been one of New York City’s primary resources for trading cards and the physical site for game tournaments. When Neutral Ground recently ceased operations, The Phoenix assumed the operation of its web site and the exclusive right to hold Neutral Ground tournament events at The Phoenix of Westchester. 

 

How do I continue to attend Neutral Ground tournament events?
